Life beyond the battlefield
The deep cultivation mechanics of the Zu Mountain: combat pets and mounts, Destiny Divine Weapons, socketing with enchanted Ambers, guild trade runs, and the Exquisite Vault economy.
The Pet System (仙宠系统)
In the Zu Mountain, Pets (仙宠) are vital spiritual companions that accompany cultivators through every trial. Pets boost owner attributes, learn active and passive talents, provide extra bag storage, and can be ridden across the realm as swift mounts.
Each pet possesses Aptitude (资质), Satiety (饱食度), Bond (亲密度), Lifespan (寿命), and Insight (悟性). Satiety above 800 during feeding reduces Bond; dead pets can be revived with specialized feed from the Pet Master.
When a pet's Bond reaches 300 or higher, the cultivator can activate the Mount skill to ride it. Walking speed scales with the pet's Aptitude. Pets feature single-rider or two-rider capacities. Taking damage in combat may dismount the rider.
Thorns (reflect damage), Vitality (HP regen), Serenity (MP regen), Parry (parry rate), Garrote (garrote rate), Critical (crit strike), Carrying (unlocks additional pet bag slots), and Mount Speed.
Feed your pet specialized feed or feed identified equipment directly from your bag to increase its talent skill experience. Higher-quality gear awards more talent EXP.
Equip your pet with items purchased from the Pet Master to elevate its stats. Note: once pet equipment is attached, it cannot be removed—it can only be overwritten. A Pet Soul permanently transforms the visual appearance of your companion.
Fuse a secondary pet (minimum level 40) into your primary pet to transfer Aptitude and talent potential. Inserting Divine Caltrop Grass boosts the success rate. Pets have a base limit of 3 fusions (expandable with a Pet Combination Bolus), with a 1-hour cooldown between attempts.
Destiny Divine Weapon & Trinkets (宿命神兵与法宝)
Every cultivator carries the spiritual legacy of their past lives. Upon reaching 80 years of cultivation, players undertake trials from the Destiny Reincarnation Fairy in Holy City or Desert City to reclaim their clan's Destiny Divine Weapon (宿命神兵).
Each race possesses a distinct weapon lineage spanning 5 Tiers. Every tier exists in two variants: Yin (阴) and Yang (阳), with Yang versions offering superior base attributes.
Base weapon attributes are classified into three quality grades: Good, Excellent, and Perfect, with Perfect granting transcendent combat ratings.
Destiny Divine Weapons feature safety milestones during fine casting: once enchanted to Tier 5, failed upgrades will never fall below Tier 5; once enchanted to Tier 10, failed attempts will never fall below Tier 10.
Part 1: Collect a Fairy Destiny Stone (from elite monsters and world bosses) to obtain a Broken Weapon.
Part 2: Defeat bosses in the Weapon Dungeons (Chitien Valley, Fallen God Mansion, Flame Demon Palace) or slay Hexad Region Blood Claws to gather Destiny Soul Stones to complete the forged weapon.
Using the weapon or dying reduces its durability. Repairing requires a Destiny Soul Stone of matching or higher tier. Strengthening ranks 1–3 suffer no rank drop on failure; ranks 4–6 drop 1 rank; ranks 7–9 drop 2 ranks.
Trinkets crafted by ancient elders are attuned in the character sheet (C). Wearing a Trinket unlocks its unique active spell, which can be placed directly on the hotbar to unleash catastrophic combat effects.
Equipment, Sockets & Amber Inlay (装备打造、打孔与琥珀)
Disciples equip 7 distinct armor slots: Head, Body, Hands, Feet, Waist Accessory, Spirit Qi, and Spirit Armor alongside their clan weapon and cosmetic Fashion garments.
Rare Set: 2 pieces (Phys Def), 3 pieces (Mag Def), 4 pieces (Atk), Complete set (Max HP bonus).
Peerless Set: Adds 5 pieces (Max HP), 7 pieces (Garrote Rate bonus), and Complete set (Garrote Resistance).
Right-click the Disenchanting Furnace in your bag to dismantle unwanted equipment. Preview up to 6 potential materials and salvage valuable Spars and crafting components.
Use Spars to enchant gear tiers with custom Spar investment and auto-enchant thresholds to elevate defensive and offensive ratings.
Use a Destiny Awl (宿命锥) (found in the Righteous Pagoda or Exquisite Vault) to puncture up to 3 sockets per gear piece. Failed socketing attempts will never destroy the gear or existing sockets.
Visit the Destiny Reincarnation Immortal in Holy City or Desert City to inlay attribute Ambers. Consuming Yaochi Fairy Dew guarantees a 100% inlay success rate. Inlaid Ambers can be safely extracted with a Jade Buddha Hand, and low-grade Ambers can be synthesized with Ningpo Spring.
Gear durability drops with use. At under 100 durability, stats are halved; at 0 durability, effectiveness drops entirely. Repair gear at any city merchant.
Guilds, Trade Runs & Grotto Heavens (宗派、跑商与洞天福地)
Cultivators band together to form official Guilds (宗派), establishing inter-city merchant routes, researching collective technologies, contesting territory, and occupying legendary private mountain sanctuaries.
Disciples with 40+ years cultivation and 100 Gold can found a Guild. Ranks include Guild Lord, Vice Lord, Hall Master, Elite, and Disciple. Guilds level up via member prosperity and collective funds.
The Guild Lord schedules construction and R&D quests across Herbology, Gear, Pet Training, and Treasure disciplines. Completed research unlocks exclusive goods in the Guild shop—Feng Shangdan.
Guild Lords establish Trade Routes with allied Guilds. Appointed merchants claim a Trade Ticket, purchase regional trade commodities, and navigate transport routes to sell them for massive Guild Funds and personal riches.
Scheduled multi-guild wars where factions mobilize to seize the Pillar of Dominion (定境柱). Control and defend the pillar for 30 consecutive minutes to conquer the territory and claim daily resource tax payouts.
A Guild with 20+ members whose Lord is level 90+ can pay 50 Gold to claim a private Grotto Heaven sanctuary across scenic territories. Features dedicated teleport arrays, 4 Stone Ape master crafting NPCs, daily Guild herald quests, and weekly free High Speed Boluses from the Guild Steward.
The Exquisite Vault & Four Currencies (玲珑宝库与货币)
As documented in the official Zu Mountain economy records, the realm operates on four distinct currencies accessible through the Exquisite Vault (玲珑宝库):
Obtained by recharging Zu Points. Used to purchase supreme treasures, divine refining aids, and cosmetics in the Vault. Can be converted directly to Bones or traded on the Gold Exchange.
Earned weekly by reaching level 30+, accumulating 14+ hours of weekly online time, and gathering Companionship Points. Spent on exclusive premium items in the Vault's dedicated Shell Shop.
The primary circulating economy currency earned in-game or exchanged from Gold. Freely tradable between players for marketplace commerce, Free Flight, and civic services.
Earned through daily quests, loop quests, and level achievements. Items purchased with Bound Bones become permanently soul-bound to your character.
An in-game, player-driven order book inside the Exquisite Vault. Cultivators place buy or sell orders at custom price ratios to trade Gold for Bones (and vice versa) safely with server-regulated handling fees.
